Mr. Arlo Werito is originally from the Huerfano Chapter area in the Eastern Navajo Agency of the Navajo Nation.  His clans are Nakai Dine and born for the Naashashi Clan. 

 

Mr. Werito has completed his education in Environmental Studies from SIPI (Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute) in Albuquerque, NM, and an internship with the National Forest Service in Tijeras, NM.  He is currently on active duty for the United States National Guard as an Aviation Specialist.  

 

Mr. Werito was initially hired as a student intern in 2009 with DCRM.  Since then, he has gained tremendous experience in conducting archaeological work on the Navajo Nation and for other non-native entities.
